Jebel Ali Freezone, commonly referred to as JAFZA, is the globe's largest free economic zone, contributing more than 23% to Dubai's GDP. This expansive area, covering 57 sq. km., is situated on Dubai's coast in Jebel Ali, bordering Abu Dhabi and running parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), the emirate's primary highway. The zone benefits from convenient access to the Dubai Metro Red Line.
JAFZA has experienced significant growth since its inception. What began as a modest collection of offices and warehouses has evolved into a bustling economic hub, now hosting over 8,000 international companies and providing employment for more than 130,000 individuals worldwide. The zone accommodates a diverse range of facilities, including industrial units, retail spaces, e-commerce operations, trading platforms, and residential areas for on-site workers.
