Capital Centre, a prominent area in Abu Dhabi's real estate, is situated in close proximity to Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street. It is among the most extensive developments on the primary island of Abu Dhabi's real estate, formerly occupied by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, with the remaining area utilized for parking. Capital Centre is not a heavily crowded neighborhood and is situated far from Abu Dhabi's central business districts. Notable buildings in the area include Capital Gate Tower, also known as the Leaning Tower of Abu Dhabi, and the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The commercial side of the area is represented by ADNEC, the Ministry of Economics, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Hotel options include Aloft Abu Dhabi, Centro Capital Centre, and Capital Centre Arjaan by Rotana.
Capital Gate Tower, owned by the ADNEC Group, is a landmark building in the Capital Centre with its unique design. This 35-story skyscraper, standing over 160 meters tall and occupying 170,000 square feet of space, is among the tallest structures in the city. Guinness World Records has recognized it as the "farthest man-made leaning tower in the world."
Although residential buildings are scarce in Capital Centre, there are some rental flats available. In addition to residential properties, Capital Centre also offers a range of large commercial office spaces for rent, ranging in size from approximately 1,238 square feet to 37,674 square feet. The majority of office spaces are located in the Capital Gate Tower/Leaning Tower.
